Children at Heart

Children at Heart ministries is composed of four separate ministries that focus on serving children and strengthening families. These ministries are Gracewood, Texas Baptist Children’s Home, Miracle Farm, and STARRY. Below are descriptions of each. Information is also available at the following website:

Gracewood is an independent, Christian ministry that assists single mothers and their children through residential group care, mentoring, financial planning, teaching, counseling, and referral to valuable community resources.  Gracewood’s focus is on long-term quality life improvements, not on temporary solutions.

Texas Baptist Childrens Home

Since 1950, Texas Baptist Childrens Home in Round Rock has provided a haven of hope for children and families in crisis through its residential programs for children and single-mother families, as well as community-based outreach and prevention programs.

Miracle Farm

Miracle Farm is a 325-acre residential boys ranch steeped in western heritage and traditional values. Here teenage boys from all over the state of Texas can step away from distractions and negative influences. It is a unique place where they become responsible young men of integrity and character, a place where self-esteem and honor can be rebuilt. A dedicated staff, incredible setting, on-campus charter school, innovative horse program, and monthly family enrichment sessions create a well-rounded program.

STARRY’s goal is to be a beacon of light for children, youth, and families in the midst of crisis, no matter how big or how small. STARRY’s counselors, direct care workers, and case managers guide their clients and residents toward the hope of a better tomorrow. Through our community services, clients are empowered to build their confidence and see the positive changes that they can make in themselves.
