Helping Hands

Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands is a non-profit organization formed by area churches to help people in crisis by providing basic needs on a short-term basis. Our goal is to provide assistance temporarily until the individual or family becomes self-sufficient.

Pregnancy Resource Center

“Our purpose is to prevent abortion by offering women the information, emotional support, spiritual encouragement, and practical help that will empower them to choose life for their child and sexual integrity for themselves.”  We offer all of our services without cost or judgment. We are dedicated to educating all on both the value of human life and the detrimental effects of abortion. We encourage the community at large to offer a supportive and understanding attitude toward women in crisis pregnancies.

Free the Captives

Free the Captives is an interdenominational, evangelical, anti-human trafficking 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that engages and mobilizes the Christian community and partners with other non-profits, law enforcement, and government agencies in the fight against modern slavery.

The primary human trafficking objectives of Free the Captives are: (1) providing direct services to trafficked teenaged victims and prevention programming for at-risk teenaged girls, (2) educating the community about trafficking, (3) reducing the demand by focusing on the buyers, and (4) pursuing legal remedies to combat trafficking.
